Biostimulators

Enhance your collagen for the most natural looking results

Starting in your 20’s, you lose collagen and cannot produce it as efficiently. This causes the skin to become thin and appear to sag. Wrinkles are more prominent and your skin doesn’t bounce back as easily. Injectable biostimulators enhance your own natural collagen, giving you the most natural results, without adding volume. This is a great preventative treatment and for rejuvenation of aging skin.

Hyperdilute Radiesse

Hyperdilute Radiesse is a more dilute version of the commonly used dermal filler Radiesse. Radiesse is a calcium based gel, and when it is metabolized, the body responds by producing collagen giving beautifully smooth results almost anywhere on the body. This procedure is done for the treatment of thin skin and laxity, commonly on the lower face, neck, chest, and hands. The Radiesse gel is thinned out, allowing us to treat a greater surface area with a larger volume of fluid.

For the best results and maximum collagen stimulation, it is recommended to do three sessions, about 4-6 weeks apart, and then annual maintenance with one session. Since the treatment works by stimulating the synthesis of new collagen and elastin, the results can take around 2-4 months, rather than the instant results you see with traditional dermal fillers.

Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)

PRF (platelet rich fibrin) is obtained from drawing your blood and extracting the red blood cells. The plasma portion contains growth factors, stem cells, platelets, and fibrin, which will stimulate the healing process and the production of new collagen and elastin. The fibrin will release growth factors over time, and your results will evolve and improve over the next few months.

PRF is a great and effective treatment for the delacate thin skin under the eyes.

The Procedure

Hyperdilute Radiesse and PRF are both injected with a cannula- a small hollow tube with a blunt tip- only requiring a minimal number of needle pokes. The procedure is comfortable for most patients.

To get the most collagen and the best results, we recommend three treatments, at least 6-8 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments should be done every 12-15 months.
